  • 1,524,525 purchase orders worth CLP 1.78 trillion (CLP 1,783,095,454,063), equivalent to US$ 1.902 billion (US$ 1,901,977,032).
  • By year: 2024, 28,223 suppliers, 650,842 orders and CLP 509.452 billion (US$ 539.9 million). 2025, 34,480 suppliers, 688,143 orders and CLP 984.596 billion (US$ 1,036.9 million). 2026 up to September 29, 18,221 suppliers, 185,540 orders and CLP 289.047 billion (US$ 325.2 million).
  • Per supplier and year: purchase orders, amount awarded in Chilean pesos and US dollars, and quotes submitted (6,182,894 in 2024, 4,878,172 in 2025 and 1,578,824 in 2026), plus totals, average amount per order, 2025 win rate (orders over quotes; median 50%) and years with sales (9,739 companies sold in all three years).
  • Concentration: median of CLP 4,881,648 awarded per supplier and CLP 1,176,000 per order. 16,068 suppliers exceed CLP 10 million, 2,907 exceed CLP 100 million and 256 exceed CLP 1 billion. The top 100 account for 20.4% of the amount and the top 1,000 for 53.4%. Leaders: Comercial Medtronic Chile (CLP 18.75 billion in 9,303 orders), Johnson y Johnson de Chile (CLP 16.01 billion) and SCM Pharma (CLP 12.71 billion): medical and pharmaceutical supplies dominate the ranking.
  • Supplier region as listed by ChileCompra (16 regions): Santiago Metropolitan 17,571 suppliers and 57.7% of the amount, Valparaiso 4,468, Biobio 4,052, La Araucania 3,299 and Los Lagos 2,972.
  • SII size and tax profile joined by RUT for 43,016 suppliers (89.5%): size by 2024 sales (21,159 micro, 14,913 small, 3,662 medium and 2,168 large), sales bracket in UF, dependent employees (1,145,973 in total; 9,359 suppliers with 10 or more), legal form (24,270 SpA, 10,744 limited liability companies, 5,486 EIRL and 1,529 closely held corporations), business start date, sector, main activity and head-office commune. Micro, small and medium companies won 69.5% of the amount (CLP 1.24 trillion) and large companies 25.0%.

How it was prepared

  • Compra Ágil suppliers by region and year published by ChileCompra were collected and aggregated by RUT (one row per supplier; if listed in more than one region, the region with the largest amount is used).
  • Legal entities only: 32,207 rows of natural persons (RUT below 50,000,000) were excluded, plus 13 estates, communities and groups named after natural persons ("Surname Name and other") and 1 RUT with an invalid check digit. No personal contact data.
  • US dollar amounts use the conversion published by ChileCompra for each order; the implied average rate is CLP 943.5 per dollar in 2024, 949.6 in 2025 and 889.0 in 2026.
  • Size, employees and sector come from the SII Company Roll (commercial year 2024); the 5,021 suppliers not found in it (for example, companies created after 2024) have those columns empty.
  • Amounts and counts as numbers, ISO dates, sorted by total amount awarded, highest first. Column names and values are in Spanish. Complements our dataset Chile Companies with Size, Sales and Employees.
