Yes, at the annual level by Harmonized System chapter (2 digits) and partner country: one CSV, Excel or JSON file covering 20 reporting countries from 2021 to 2024, with no API key, quota or JSON paging. Countries carry ISO codes and trade value is in USD (FOB and CIF).
Does it include 4- or 6-digit HS products such as copper concentrate (HS 2603)?
No. Detail is by chapter: copper concentrate falls under chapter 26 (ores, slag and ash) and refined copper under chapter 74. For 6-digit subheadings use the UN Comtrade API or, for Brazil and Paraguay, our 8-digit foreign trade datasets.
Where does the data come from?
United Nations merchandise trade statistics database (UN Comtrade), annual 2021-2024 data reported by each country, 2-digit Harmonized System, retrieved on September 29, 2026. Collected and processed by datasets.lat (as of September 29, 2026).
How often is it updated?
Planned update frequency: quarterly. Buyers also get every new version of this dataset we publish at no extra cost.

  • Each row is reporting country, year, flow, Harmonized System chapter (97 chapters) and partner country, with trade value in USD and, when reported, FOB and CIF values.
  • Partners: World total (13,418 rows, for 18 countries) and 11 key partners: China, United States, Germany, Spain, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. 54,633 rows are intra-regional trade with Latin American countries.
  • Reporters: Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Uruguay.
  • Computed indicators: partner share of the world total per chapter (100,980 rows) and chapter share of the country total (13,418 rows).
  • 19 columns (Spanish names), with ISO-2 and ISO-3 codes for both countries, subregion and Spanish chapter name.

How it was prepared

  • Official United Nations merchandise trade statistics (UN Comtrade) as reported by each country, retrieved on September 29, 2026 by country, year, chapter and partner.
  • valor_usd is the primary reported value (CIF for imports and FOB for exports for most countries).
  • participacion_socio_pct = value with partner / value with world for the same country, flow, year and chapter. participacion_capitulo_pct = chapter value / sum of the country's chapters with the world.
  • Spanish country names with ISO codes; Spanish HS chapter names. Empty columns removed. No duplicates; stable id per row.
  • Some countries do not report every year or partner: missing data means no row (no imputation). Aggregated data, no companies or people.
