Where does the data come from?
Open data from the Registro de Empresas y Sociedades (Law 20,659, Ministerio de Economía de Chile) published on datos.gob.cl: incorporations from 2025 and from 2026 with a cutoff as of July 31, 2026. Collected and processed by datasets.lat (as of September 26, 2026).
How often is it updated?
Planned update frequency: monthly. Buyers also get every new version of this dataset we publish at no extra cost.

What it includes

  • 331,748 companies incorporated in the Registro de Empresas y Sociedades ("Company in One Day"): 202,404 from 2025 (January to December) and 129,344 from 2026 (January to July, latest official cutoff).
  • Nationwide coverage: 16 regions and 346 municipalities. Región Metropolitana 148,057, Valparaíso 33,102, Biobío 24,614, Maule 18,396 and La Araucanía 17,056. The municipalities with the most new companies are Providencia (20,017), Santiago (18,181) and Las Condes (14,465).
  • By company type: 256,661 SpA, 48,482 EIRL, 26,533 limited liability companies, 61 corporations (sociedades anónimas) and 11 general or limited partnerships.
  • Declared capital in Chilean pesos for 100% of the rows: median of CLP 1,500,000, 44,573 companies with capital of CLP 10 million or more and 2,493 with CLP 100 million or more.
  • 17 columns: RUT, company name, company type (code and description), capital, date of incorporation, registration date, SII approval date, year and month, tax municipality and region, corporate municipality and region, and identifier of the action in the RES.

What it's for

  • B2B prospecting: be the first to reach newly created companies that need an accountant, bank, software, insurance, office or suppliers.
  • KYB and customer validation: confirm RUT, company name, company type and date of incorporation of a counterparty.
  • Territorial and trend analysis: measure company creation by region, municipality, month and company type.

How we prepared it

  • Deduplicated by RUT (331,748 unique RUT) and sorted from most recent to oldest incorporation.
  • All RUT were validated with their check digit.
  • Dates in ISO format and capital as a number, ready for Excel, SQL or Python.
  • Companies are grouped by the year and month in which the RES recorded the incorporation; 132 have a first filing date prior to 2025.
  • Company data only: it does not include partners, legal representatives or personal contact information.
