What it includes

  • 81,663 corporate notices published in the Second Section (Companies) of the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic (Boletín Oficial) between January 2, 2025 and September 25, 2026, covering 63,211 distinct company names.
  • 23,205 company incorporations: SRL (11,925), SA (5,727), SAS (5,358) and SAU (193). 12,926 were published in 2025 and 10,279 in 2026. In addition, 1,091 correction notices for incorporations.
  • Fields extracted from the text of each incorporation: date of the incorporation deed (22,842), summarized corporate purpose (22,022), share capital (21,349), duration (21,546), fiscal year-end date (21,707) and registered office (19,417).
  • Capital in USD: capital in pesos is converted using the BCRA wholesale reference exchange rate on the publication date (between ARS 1,032.75 and ARS 1,523.97 per dollar in the period), and the rate used is included. Median capital at incorporation: ARS 30,000,000 for SA, ARS 2,000,000 for SRL and ARS 682,000 for SAS. 257 companies were founded with capital equivalent to USD 100,000 or more.
  • Industry sector derived from the corporate purpose: multi-activity or broad purpose (5,108), wholesale and retail trade (2,655), construction and real estate (2,606), food service and food products (2,239), professional and business services (1,585), technology and software (1,200), industry and manufacturing (1,026), transport and logistics (897), health (743), finance and investments (713), agriculture and livestock (693), tourism and entertainment (657), energy and mining (309), media and advertising (273), education and culture (244) and other services (1,074).
  • Other corporate notices classified in the tipo_aviso column: appointment or resignation of officers (34,592), change of registered office (4,378), transfer of quotas or shares (3,424), capital increase (3,088), amendment of bylaws (2,244), change of corporate purpose (1,779), dissolution or liquidation (1,227), change of name (496), merger (355), transformation (300), extension or reactivation (265), capital reduction (143), spin-off (92), corrections (1,511) and other notices (3,473).
  • Company CUIT in 57,000 notices (39,357 distinct CUITs), taken from the notice text or, in 2,084 cases, from another notice of the same company. Newly incorporated companies generally do not have a CUIT yet when their incorporation is published; 1,434 incorporations have one from a later notice.
  • Link to the official notice in each record, and number of notices for the same company name in the period (avisos_empresa_total).

Coverage

  • The Second Section of the national Official Gazette publishes the notices of companies registered with the Inspección General de Justicia (IGJ). For that reason, of the 19,262 incorporations with an identified registered-office jurisdiction, 19,234 are in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Companies registered with provincial public registries publish in their provincial gazettes and are not included.

  • Due diligence (KYB) and monitoring of corporate changes: officers, registered office, capital, name, mergers and dissolutions.

How we prepared it

  • We collected the Second Section notice index day by day and the full text of each notice from the official daily edition, and turned the text into fields using extraction rules.
  • No data on natural persons: we do not include partners, directors, managers, authorized representatives, DNI, CUIL or personal CUIT numbers, dates of birth, marital status or private addresses. Only company data is kept (the registered office is the company's legal address).
  • Notices published over several days are counted only once. The id is the official notice identifier; 680 notices without an identifier in the index use the edition's identifier.
  • For amendments, only the fields that are reliable for that notice type are filled in (office for office changes, purpose for purpose changes); capital, duration and fiscal year-end are reported only for incorporations.
  • The sector is assigned with keyword rules on the corporate purpose and may contain errors; the purpose is trimmed to 600 characters.
  • 2,021 notices could not be linked to their text: they have company name, type, date and link, and texto_disponible = false.
  • Dates in ISO format, amounts as numbers. Sorted with incorporations first and the most recent at the top.
